 Location: Los Angeles Zoo Story: Recently went to the Los Angeles zoo for a Christmas light display. In years past the city put up lights on Crystal Springs Rd., which runs right by the zoo. But with budgets in crisis they didn’t have lights the last couple of years. This year, the lights returned, but they were no longer on display on the road... for free, mind you. Now they were in the zoo, where you had to pay for admittance. Still, the lights were pretty, and I didn’t pay THAT much. |
