 Location: Los Angeles theater, downtown Los Angeles Story: I don't remember the first time I discovered the term "movie palaces," but it put a name to something I was drawn to. Since then I've been able to visit many of the old movie palaces here in Los Angeles. The Los Angeles theater, like the others, has a story of its own. Located right in the middle of Broadway downtown, it has always been there as a marker in my life. It's good that I finally saw the interior.
