 Location: Spreckels Story: Spreckels is a tiny town West of Salinas in the Salinas valley. It's tiny and is surrounded by huge farms. On my last trip to the Monterey peninsula I stopped here to take this and other photos. In the picture is the local saloon, the post office and the volunteer fire department. It's pretty much the whole town. |
